UK Employment Rights! Just left a company and have ALL my wages deducted for no good reason!?
I worked 44 hours per week and received £ 250 before taxes. I worked between April & September 2010. In my final paycheck wages have been deducted by a company uniform who wears the uniform of the company £ 89. I also had a deduction for the embroidery on the uniform of £ 15. I have also been accused of "losing a cable and furnishings, which have charged me £ 50 for. I have also been deducted stock (I have not bought any in the last pay period.) I also only took four vacation days during the 5 months I worked there. So it must be paid accrued vacation? Someone help! Thanks for your reply Tass. No, I was not aware of any items missing until I got my final payslip and P45. Not really, not sure how to run a business. When the last girl left I remember laughing as they worked out which could reduce your final salary package. It makes me very angry! I am a good person, honest, hardworking and just want what I have worked very hard for.
– It can not be deducted from salary for a company uniform unless they have not returned. This is an expense of businesses and individuals so there are no benefits in kind or (as a loan payment for example). – Do you have accumulated 12 days of vacation, so there should be approximately 8 days (depending on whether the is written in your contract) – Purchases of securities directly from your account, not being deducted at source! – Lack of values (if true) can be claimed if they have evidence of personal guilt You really need to speak with a counselor or CAB or ACAS to get this resolved.
