Cardboard Embroidery

Does anyone know how to make the Embroidery Hoop?

It need not be durable. And not necessarily have to be a ring-shaped well. I only enough for this project. I am embroidering my boyfriends name of the university in a blanket that I am doing, and tried and deposited in the lyrics and the stitching around it, but came out crooked and the fabric held up group. It was very frustrating. So, if I could just do a quick ring, even if it is made of cardboard or something, that would be cool.

You can pick up the wooden rings at Wal-Mart for about 2.00, but in a pinch I've used a picture frame without the glass and the back. If your project is small enough just use pins to keep it in place if the project is much larger as in your case, the roll of fabric to the sides and use of hair clips with teeth like you would use your pile of hair on the back.
