What is the best of Nine Inch Nails CD to start?
I'm looking to add the band (yes, especially the efforts of Trento) for my collection. I wonder what the best NIN CD is to be added. Also, if my local elections are limited, is there any NIN CD stay away from?
It is not easy to say … The best selling album and the most famous being 'The Downward Spiral "(1994), and is one of the best records, but may be too diificult to absorb someone who does not know NIN. My personal favorite is "The Fragile" (1999), but is even more subtle than the previously mentioned album. 'Broken' (1992) won two Grammy awards and has the best remix album (fixed), but is quite short and homogeneous (20 minutes of pure rage.) 'And All That could have been' (2002) is an album in concert, so it is a "best of" compilation. Finally, 'Pretty Hate Machine "(1989) has catchy hits, but musical instruments are like Depeche Mode, so it's not really rock. Well, it's your choice. My favorite is The Fragile, but NIN is mostly known for The Downward Spiral.
