how to find the pounds of copper is brass yellow when 3.28kg weights?
Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper metal. Different types of brass are made by different amount of copper and zinc in the alloy. yellow brass is 33% zinc. If an instrument is brass yellow and 3.28kg weight, How Many kilograms of copper makes this instrument weight? Can you please help me set this up for me to work and find the answer?
If zinc content is 33%, then copper = 67% 67 / 100 * 3.28 = 2.2 kg of copper, the real figure is 2.1976kg calculator. but I rounded up to 2.2 kg in light og figs sig.
