Sun-damaged wood frame where ……. corner protectors HELP!?
I have a mirror wall and corner guards had so when I removed them is now visible where they were …… any ideas on how to remove the marks? I tried sanding, in vain!
You will find that is almost impossible to get a perfect color match with just treating the corners. You could use tint the corners, make them a feature with a definite line in any edge where corner protectors is achieved through the use of tape. Or you can feather the edges when applying the dye with a brush show of hands, to give an effect on every corner. (You can also use ordinary paint, matte or glossy) Anyway, get a contrast of the colors you like, just another easy alternative is to color the entire frame.
