What problems faced when using a first aid kit?
I'm doing a design help of my first-DNT (design technology n) courses. U can give me some ideas please? Help! Thnk you!
Dear haymi: We also have considered how to design a first aid kit. Although first aid kits are essential, here are some of the problems I encountered: The biggest problem one faces is the fact that when using a first aid kit, sometimes found in an isolated environment. In these cases, all you have is all you need. So, wants to take the widest range of items so be prepared to treat a wide range of emergencies, but the size and weight limit factors. Individual items within a kit may noisily loose breakage or disorder. Containers of liquids or ointments may explode in flight and exposure to heat, as when the kit First aid is stored in the trunk of a car. Elements within it can be broken or worn. Medication may be in the past its expiration date. Of course, the only solution to this is regular scheduled inspections. Old style case made of metal were weighed, subjected to oxidation, and took the lead hazard electricity (the latter a very real possibility in the scene of a disaster). Fortunately, most cases of modern first aid kit are made of nylon plastic or tissue, both non-conductors. Another problem: Small first aid booklet included with each first aid kit has useful information – but not much. In addition, some information may be outdated (ie, recommend oral suction snakebite). In addition, first aid kits used commercial or industrial facilities must comply with OSHA regulations regarding the design and content. You have freedom of action a little more design a first aid kit for use in a particular house or private car. Finally, to prevent transmission of the disease in this age of hepatitis and AIDS, the team protection is an absolute must! Here are my thoughts on how I would design a first aid kit. The case could be made of plastic lightweight but sturdy. This avoids the disadvantages of a metal box, as I described above. The White Plastic would be so as to reduce heat absorption. The white color also ensure that any contaminant that rose to the surface (mud, blood, etc.) would be easily visible. I would like design the kit with two separate compartments, similar to a suitcase suitcase. Each compartment has its own handle, which could be held in one hand. In addition, the team would be equipped with not one but two safe "double action" latches to be absolutely sure that it stays closed, even if left fall (if the computer pops open and spills its contents, which will be of no help to the victims). The two halves of the same size so that when opened, they would bed. The edges are coated with a foam material to keep the waterproof case, protecting the contents. Now, imagine this: When the play opens, we would the two compartments are covered with thin plastic flaps to keep the contents of each compartment and separate content, like the suitcase trunk is like it. In the clear plastic "sleeve" on the left lapel, we would find a pair of sterile gloves, plastic, stored flat in a protective paper cover. In the clear plastic "sleeve" on the tab right, we would find a surgeon's mask, are also stored on a flat roof liner. Don these two items of protective equipment before doing anything else. Now, open the trap doors (unlike the fins in a suitcase trunk travel that open inward, these flaps open outwards and beyond the edges of the compartments). The action of opening the flaps exposes all elements in the kit. On the other hand, the clear plastic "sleeve" on the left lapel, we would find two triangular bandages traditional, stored flat. In the clear plastic "sleeve" on the tab right, we would find the first aid manual, as high and wide (thin), a magazine, large enough to contain a lot of information. Incidentally, as a bonus, the seller agrees to provide the buyer with a website where you can be a current first aid manual downloaded by the purchaser at any time, thus giving the purchaser the latest information on first aid for your computer (it seems people change the ratio of CPR compressions to breathe every other Sunday). Both compartments of the suitcase is sub-divided into many smaller compartments, some well as a box of chocolates, as well as to store the elements – particularly small items. The plastic tabs that hold everything in place. So, your equipment is properly set, and all the elements visible to you, you're ready to go. I have some ideas as to what elements should be placed on your computer, and how they should be set, but I'm running out of available space. Well, not my ideas. Hope this helps. Good luck.
