Can anyone tell me how to paint Polka Dots or stripes on the wooden letters?
My boyfriend gave me a big letter B for my painting. I have really wanted to make designs cute in it but I do not know how. Things like stripes, polka dots, swirls? Anything really nice. The problem: I have done the base coat and three layers good to have a firm bottom. Now how I can put designs on it? I have brushes of all kinds, 5 base color, and some templates (sign of peace as swirl and the alphabet). You can not afford to buy something extra and I'm afraid it free hand. Any ideas?
I did it with dots on the wall of my kitchen and use the circle inside a roll of tape as a template. Just find some time as a car part or faucet repair kit that takes in washing machines or simply go to a hardware store and find a washing machine that is the right size and use. You can by them individually for a few cents. Or just might have something around the house.
