The hot water side and the valve of my washing machine leaks. Easy to repair?
The hot water valve, water (where the twisty-knob meets the base) for my washing machine has a small leak. Is this a simple repair? I'm thinking I should cut off the water, disassemble or remove the valve and replace it w / a new, used teflon tape on the threads of the hot water pipe. Does this sound like a good plan? Anything missing or that I do differently? ~ Slacker
