How I can clean a carpet of cotton oversized? (It has spots of dust and dirt)?
I bought this great rug at IKEA I think it wooven cotton, but not sure (it doesn't have the label more). It's really dirty, but I can not put it in the washing machine, its great. Carpet This color is light cream, so the stains are visible. Its got this weird spots, but are made of earth, no other substance. I've tried cleaning with vacuum, but it doesn't remove them, even the carpet is dirty. Any ideas on how to clean it? The size is probably 150 cm x 200 cm
I used to have a carpet well. The first years that I had to hang up my clothes line and spray with the hose attachment with a garden, which instead of fertilizer fills me with a mixture of water and soap. Once this is done doused him with water to rinse all the soap. After several washes with a hose over time came clean. I did about 2 times a year. This carpet lasted over 10 years. Finally got rid of it when we get a new carpet. Of course you have to do this in one day so you can leave the carpet on the clothesline ot dry air when finished.
