Happy hearts?
If a wife does everything for her husband, everything from cooking meals to going down. Cleaning house, everything! i mean everything. Then why can’t he be happy? I did cheat on him many many years ago and yet all that i do now just won’t make hime happy! He says he ain’t happy in his heart.
Well, my husband thinks I’m unhappy (and feels like that is his fault). The truth is I am not a naturally happy person. I’m not unhappy either. I’m just not the type to have a ton of energy every day, smile brightly and and be cheery. It gets a little old when people always ask me whats wrong. Nothing. Nothing is wrong. But I shouldn’t have to put on this artificial-happy-face.
I mean if he stayed with you several years after the affair, I think he has to have forgiven you. Perhaps you have asked him if he is unhappy? Maybe he is like me: Very much at peace, just not happy.
Ask him if he wants to leave. If he wants to stay, accept that at face value and make peace with his not-so-happy heart.
