What is the best kind of electric guitar to get?
I'm a lefty and I'm looking for something accessible about anything less than $ 300. and I am a girl .. so I'm not looking for any male looking well haha, but I do not want any butterflies or hearts for the basis of good (I saw those in the Guitar Center). all suggestions are greatly appreciated thanks
A lefty friends! Rock on sister! The best kind of guitar is that you feel comfortable. Sometimes one does not choose the right guitar – You Choose the right guitar for you! 
Seriously, go to the local music store and try some guitars. You want to find something that you feel comfortable. Epiphone Les Paul makes some in your price range. In addition, Ibanez has some great low cost guitar lines that make Great Starter. One of the issues we have is the fact that you are left handed though. I pest because I can not play right because one part of a finger missing on my left hand. In general, much less options lefties. If you have the ability to learn to play the right hand – I highly suggest. Good luck!
