Heirloom Flowers
I miss my Iris from my old house?
I sold my house in the winter and left a large number of significant mainly flowers and Iris and peonies many were inherited from my family and some I received as a gift. Would be inappropriate to stop by and ask if I could take some of the rhizomes to my new home? What would you do if someone asks? Also in other peoples yards – have you ever asked if he could talk with them? Mainly disconsolate on the iris of my friends – Persian Berry, immorality, Babbling Brook, Gay Parasol, superstition, Chasing Rainbows. Then my Grandmothers Great Dark Red Peony and another called Bowl of Beauty. I'm shopping for more, but I feel bad for those left behind. I moved well before the list of the house before frost, but forgot some of the most important. I'm not looking to leave holes. Rhizomes get broken anyway and really do not leave holes behind.
I could not take with us when we moved in January 2004 due to freezing temperatures, so I went back in May, when he could get some of each variety of iris (several you mentioned). We taken good care of them, so they were prosperous, and the owner was happy to share, and I deleted their flower beds to change.
