Unexploited Tourism Paradise Kenya

Kenya may not be at the top of your ideal vacation spots but there is no doubt that it beats an overcrowded tourist hotspot any day. The African savannah, getting down and dirty with nature tour will make for a completely different kind of adventure. So read on about the best that Kenya has to offer.

Kenya has the best of all worlds in vacation parlance. From the coast to the lakes and mountains there is something for each kind of traveler. During tourist season, there is a host of activities offered for the thrill seeking tourist. For those who are into ancient history structures, they can check out the Gedi Ruins at the heart of the Arabuko Sokoke forest. The ruins are spread over 45 acres and pose an archaeological mystery to this day. A walk around the ruins will take you into the ghostly depths of past civilizations.

For the animal lovers there is the Haller Wildlife Park teeming with African wildlife, hippos, giraffes, oryxes and elands. A trip to the park is a pleasant getaway from the beaches. For those who like delving into a country’s culture, Kenya also has museums. Of notable interest is the Karen Blixen museum, the Englishwomen who developed a coffee plantation near the Ngong Hills.

The film version of the book Out of Africa by Karen Blixen was filmed on location and starred Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. The house has now been turned into a museum with the original decor still intact. Visitors can receive tours and have their queries answered by the trained staff.

There are also a host of popular events that take place all over Kenya that will entice the cultural traveler. From the Lamu Cultural Festival to the Maralal Camel Race there is plenty to keep one occupied. Lamu is an island located off the Kenyan coast and every year at the festival there is a kaleidoscope of attractions, from Swahili poetry to Henna painting.

What is a trip to Kenya without a safari? There are multiple options that you can take from a beach safari, to wildlife safari even a sports safari tour. The wildlife safari will take your breath away as the Kenyan landscape offers a spectacular array of habitats and wildlife.

Whatever adventure you decide to indulge in, you will come back refreshed and brimming in life! So take a walk on the wild said and say Jambo to Kenya!

What do you think of this poem?

In the evening my gut laughing at the crackle of the leaves I was the lone wolf skin around my brothers hair waving and my sisters were taken from the shoulders hand encountered in the forest and all of us around the kaleidoscope moved to the music of our and dark thoughts began to creep through our skin that emerged in a clearing in the sky in the light of dead stars and live on our faces as shadows, it was as if the gods reached out and touched us reached over and kissed us and so we become animals and the howling, trills and squawks on the moon embracing to each other laughing, dancing and always laughing all the darkness shuddered

this is the best poem ive heard
