How I can start making a design?
I like hand-embroidered pure silk fabric great for an upcoming wedding. I have never embroidered before, but I'm pretty good at picking up new skills wise. Is there a good website that I can get started? I am particularly looking for information about mark on the fabric patterns, different types of sewing, and where I can get the patterns. Thanks!
You're much better off going to a local craft store (such as Hobby Lobby, or Michaels Joanns) and talking to someone there. Its craftsmen are very knowledgeable and can actualyl SHOW that the stuff you need. And you can take classes there if necessary!
