I'm looking to start sewing, advising on the machine to begin.?
I'm looking to make some pillow case dresses and things basic. Lil I have 2 girls for that is all why I want to learn. Any advice on a machine that would be ideal to learn about? I would prefer one with embroidery / monogramming, trying to stay under $ 300, atleast until you see if you still can.
I have a $ 400 embroidery only machine is a piece of shit. Skip this feature. Most machines are: (1) cheap and (2) multiple use will be pieces of junk that will lower your interest in the seam. In fact, fewer bells and whistles, the better. You do not want a team with a lot of buttons and options that complicate things – because when something goes wrong (and will) do not know where to look. If you can not "prove" one in a shop, at least make sure you can return it within 60 days (or whatever). And if it does a driving test is like, look online for a better price – your local dealer can match.
