Choosing a quilting machine – What to Look for

What is the difference between Silk Embroidery and Embroidery Thread? (Quilting)?
I'm making my first quilt and the need to use "thread Embroidery "sewing hearts in boxes in the background.'s embroidery floss is the same, or do I have specific embroidery thread? Thanks in advance!
