How do you go about becoming an official member of the British royal family?

My great grandfather was Alastair Windsor, most thought that "Died without children." However, they did not. My family has had private photos of my grandfather as a child with Alastair Alastair and letters from my great-grandmother on their relationship and their lives. How can I be an official member or at least have acknowledged my inheritance? I have taken the evidence that several historians and other professionals UK and all have told me how the pictures and letters are dated, they all play in sync with the life of Alastair and it would be "professional opinion" the physical evidence is sufficient. I do not care about becoming a prince or something like that. Do not even care about the money (though technically, my grandfather would right to the title of Duke of Fife). I just want acknolweged.

That's fascinating! I mean seriously. Alistair died ————————– 1943 in Ottawa, at the age of 28, a freak accident in which he fell asleep in front of a window and died alone of hypothermia. It is one of the actual deaths that has always been deeply suspicious. =============== If your grandfather was an illegitimate child, then there is fascinating. Even having illegitimate relations some merit (especially so close to the royal family). ——————————— – If your grandfather was the product of a marriage in secret, if you are hier oldest male, they are certainly entitled to be the Duke of Connaught and Strathearn. The Duke of Fife and Earl of Macduff went to a cousin in 1959, so I think you can forget about that. =================== Alastair Windsor is (I think) the only woman downline bear the surname Windsor. He had three years where House of Windsor was created, and her mother created a "princess of Great Britain and Ireland" and taking into account the style of "Her Royal Highness" by decree anyway you have no right to be His Royal Highness, but if your grandfather was part of a secret marriage and can prove they have the right to legally change his name to Windsor. It is also has the right to be the Duke of Connaught (forget about the Duke of Fife). There were some rumors that the Queen was thinking about his son Prince Edward, the Duke of Connaught, but she chose instead Earl of Wessex, with the hope that when she dies that he be made to the Duke of Edinburgh. Please email ———————— me (or post more comments on your question) and tell me what evidence you have .. You think it was a secret marriage or do you think was an illegitimate child? Are you Canadian or British?

Take a trip to the Royal Castle in Warsaw

If you're planning a trip to Poland this summer, you might spend some time in the nation's capital Warsaw – And for good reason. Warsaw is one of the most stunning cities in Eastern Europe, with the protection of UNESCO World Heritage Old Town next to the luxurious Palace of Culture and Science, and a variety of monuments to Poland's troubled past. However, most noteworthy attraction in Warsaw – the great Royal Castle.

Dating from the thirteenth century, Warsaw Royal Castle was once the official residence of the king of Poland. It was the home of the king's personal offices, and the Real Hearing of Poland until the Partitions of Poland, which ended with the sovereign Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the eighteenth century. During World War II, the Royal Castle was partially destroyed by German bombers during the invasion of Poland and then suffered further damage as a result of German bombing and artillery fire during the Warsaw uprising in 1944. In September 1944, Hitler orders the remains of the Castle of the bombing were flown.

Reconstructions, however, began to take place in early 1970 and July 1974 the clock tower of the Royal Castle began to work again – in the same exact time that he was arrested during the Luftwaffe bombing. Currently, the Royal Castle is mainly used for ceremonial purposes and as a branch of the Polish National Museum. Moreover, many of the original works Castle of art are still available for viewing. This is because, during the siege of Warsaw in 1939, much of the art collection was transferred to the Royal Castle to different basements around Warsaw, thus obscuring the German authorities.

Visitors to the Royal Castle is the castle that is composed of several rooms, all of which have been carefully restored original as much detail as possible left in place. The Jagiellonian rooms – once the home of Augustus III – now home to a series of portraits of the Jagiello family, a dynasty that ruled parts of Central Europe Lithuania from the XIV to XVI.

Royal Castle Cameras Parliament is the site of the root of Polish democracy, while the Royal Apartments were once the residence of Stanislaus Augustus Poniatowski, the last king and the great Duke of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Royal Apartments at the Royal Castle also consist Caneletto room, where visitors will find many paintings Warsaw to see. Curiously, however, these paintings were not painted by Canaletto, but by his pupil and nephew, Bernardo Bellotto, who signed his name Bernardo Canaletto.

Castillo Real is located in the Plac Zamkowy, at the height of the old city of Warsaw held, so that travelers to Warsaw will be easy for orientation of this milestone. Also of interest is the copper roof of the Palace – or Palac pod Blacha in Polish – which was built in 1720 and is located right next to the Royal Castle. If you is waiting to take stunning attractions of Warsaw, you will find frequent flights to Warsaw from London Heathrow – so you can be sure of an easy way to travel to this spectacular city!
