How the lighting, scoring, sound and set design contribute to the overall outcome of the movie?
Please please help me … I had to respond to this in my report.
Well I'll split. Lighting is very beneficial in a movie, because it contributes to state general mood of the film, makes the actors look better or worse depending on how the director wants it and illuminates dark scenes so viewers can see what is really happening in a shot. The person in charge of lighting is usually the director of photography. Sometimes they use different colored lights or a place similar role to wrap special Seram of color on a light to make a scene seem more romantic or fear or depression. Light is often manipulated to look like light natural coming through the windows when they are actually shooting in a set. score is super super important for a movie, because this can make or break a film. If you ever see a horror movie without sound, the less fear you will see it is. Lets the public know how they are supposed to feel. Is it depressing? Is it interesting? The music lets you know and put in charge of a composer and sometimes the director. Most sounds like footsteps, the door creaking, clinking glasses in a restaurant is put into the film in a studio after the shooting. Nature of Work as a Set Designer
The set designer is required to be present during each and every aspect of the development stage, right from the script to deciding on the location for erecting the set.
