Does anyone know of a brother or Futura embroidery machine pe700 singer? Are they any good?
I would like to monogram more than anything else. Do you have a These machines work better than another. I would like to stay under $ 1000. Do I need special software to get new fonts? It is unclear as to what extra things you need to buy for more designs. Can anyone help?
Here's a long answer to your question. Will be long and detailed because I was doing the same research on the machines myself a few months ago … here is what I found …. I have a brother PE-700 II, which is the same as the PE-700 except it has a built in USB interface to download designs directly from computer / internet. This little extra is not in the regular PE-700, but other than that Brother I have understood are the same machine. I love this team and have been using mine almost daily for three months. Because II PE-700 is capable of USB, no need to buy additional hardware and software to add new designs and monograms, and now you can download (or buy) a number of designs available apparently unlimited supply on the web. Even better, – costs less with this clever accessory hsn exclusive than the regular PE-700. This is a special configuration developed exclusively by brother HSN (hsn.com). I did a lot of research before buying – even talked with the brother on the phone a few times before buying from HSN. The cost is just HSN 799.00, when they have it in stock – usually is offered with a flexible payment option 5x 159.00 monthly payments. Even better – is lower than usual price of regular PE-700 that does not have USB built in. It has a memory to download an additional six designs in memory at once, and designs can be stored in memory or on your computer TNE for later use. Finally – Brother Customer Service is very handy so that, apart from HSN's fantastic 30-day return policy no without any problems you have normal warranty coverage of the Brothers and customer support. The machine uses class 15 plastic bobbins – easy to find, does not need or oil, keeps track of points sewn to her account of "service" keeping reminder before cleaning, PSA Cards accepted design, has tons of construction design and construction 3 alphabets with some capabilities built in size (SML) to the sources, an additional large source Built in the monogram, nice bright light, hard case, easy threading a dream, adjustable tension on the screen size and placement / / design flip, rotate, etc, the total design of stitches, seams estimated time for design, coil and automatic cutting of top, adjustable options Thread Color, option to view measurements in inches or millimeters, a reminder on the screen, adjustable display brightness, lanquage selection, establishment thread tension, beeps broken wires, built in support of animation on screen with directions, and the largest five (W) x 7 (high) stitching area. I have mine used to monogram handbags, and the availability of free sources and low price / Internet designs is endless. Sew my designs are complex lace like a dream with the tension of the stitch perfect … just remember that the smaller number of stitch tension and speed using wire as you would on any Machine Embroidery. I think most of my designs / monograms on the Web (search for machine embroidery designs), and either download the free many examples of or make a purchase. Save it to your computer "Shared Documents" files with a folder name to access this, and then turn on the machine with the USB cable connected USB port of your computer and copy or save the design to drive "K" which is the emb. active folder machine. The "k" only appears on the computer wire to the USB embroidery machine is connected and the machine is on.) Instructions are included that come with the machine are very, very simple. The machine read the file and download it to your temporary memory or you can choose to save it for later use. Most designs can also be downloaded resize somewhat from the Brothers PE-700 without any additional software. HSN sold out of these (PE-700 II) fairly quickly, but it should be more action soon as there craft / sewing host. If you will check your site after Midnite late Wednesday night (when it is actually 12:00 am EDT Thursday morning) .. are supposed to be offering some kind of embroidery machine and special today with a great special price. May or may not be the brother PE-700II. Its program guide can be found on the website …. hsn.com then go to Program Guide in the top bar to see when "sewing or crafts" will air on television and the Internet. If you see the name Darelene Cayhill or the show "is SewEasy, or brother or singer listed … is a good chance of a Brother Embroidery machine will also be presented. You can also watch online. (Check HSN TV.) I was never in any home shopping until I came to this team … but my neighborhood Brother dealer or repairing tells me it's a peach of a deal with the integrated USB port and it was a love in which he said they could obtain from HSN. com at a better price than he could offer – Especially since the regular PE-700 has no built in USB port … He said These machines use the same components as the Babylock version – only one brand of lower price for the same manufacturer. Anyway, I LOVE mine! And Best of all – I loved the special price, extras, and easy low monthly payments using my debit card. Now I have hundreds of designs stored in my power on the computer and cd's. So yes – the EP-700 rocks – but it's even better if you can get the PE-700 II with built-in USB connection instead of paying More USB converter hardware / software as PE-Box Design. Good luck! (PS I do not know for sure when hsn.com will be over the machine – but I have that more is due in soon, so keep checking the website with the search for the brothers embroidery machines. It is likely to be offered throughout the day this Thursday or until it is exhausted again. They often have several brands and models – Singer Futura machine embroidery has had less positive views of users on the HSN website – Some difficulties in terms of software compatibility Singer with the new version of Windows and updates that require too much before being able to use. (I use XP with my brother — no problem at all. Brother PE-700 II has been nothing but stellar reviews in the pages of feedback HSN, as well as other websites such as web embroidery – rings. Personally, I was advised to select the mark during the singer's brother says singer because they are more prone to the problems of stress, require more than "just the singer and" parts such as coils, etc, the need for software updates and patches, it is said that the change of county of origin recruited manufacturing sources more often, therefore, less uniform control in the process of closure, more complicated software issues, higher price singer specific parts, and is a less popular consumer name as the brother. Because the brother also uses the same quality parts in the embroidery machines that are used in top brand Babyloc machines – quality of the components is not a problem.) I am not against Singer products, but this is what I have learned personally after reading many pages web, customer feedback, for both products, talking to people that the manufacturers technical support, taking in sewing and embroidery classes and attending conferences embroidery (my embroidery machine last was a brother too) and most importanty, speaking user to other local and visiting several authorized repair shop Singer input to the brother before each purchase.) Once again – good luck and happy stitchin!
