Smooth cedar fence – flat surface? O drum of sand?

I have the intention to rebuild a fence using tables in the common close cedar. These are sold wet and rough. The last time I built, the wood was cured for 3 months. I used a belt sander to smooth all parties. It went really well, but the sanding was not fun: 3 days of vibration, "" sawdust snowman, inhalation of dust from cedar, cedar chips eyes. At the time I said, "the next time I am buying / renting a machine to smooth those together." I was thinking of a portable planer surface and the handling of a vacuum leak. But I'm not sure that the brush can handle all tables deformations cedar fence tend to have. Would it work surface planner for my application? I also observed the surface of the drum sanders, and I know that these are designed specifically for this application. But it seems that there are only commercial (ie> $ 500) machines available? Any ideas?

deformation or vacuum? … plotted for I mean an end to the other curves … one roller brush will take care of this measure passing by … tasting, side to side of the warp, it means that the brush and sander flatten these final thickness at the expense of … if any sanding or brush twisted … if I would use hollowed belt sander to smooth and not worry about the cup. If your tables are thicker than the plane you want then all to the same thickness and dispose of all sales this way …
