Need ideas opening event Sewing Machine store?
I am opening a second location 60 miles from my current position. We will machines embroidery and sewing and related supplies. The machines range in price from 200 to more than 10,000. I will be totally new in this particular market. I want an event grand opening really start to put the word of mouth that is needed in this particular business, and the use of traditional methods. Everyone has great ideas and rare? Any ideas. I'm stuck than regular ordinary things most people do. Thanks
All this is great. Demonstrations are enormous. Maybe they have a number of free sewing classes within X number of weeks. Depending on how long you have you can have a quilt program (People love to show their qulits and see the work of others) and an auction / raffle with the proceeds going to charity (it is only necessary to have a really qulit for auction / Draw). Know something stitchers who quilt for charity or donate a qulit? Maybe you buy it and donate it to charity. Be sure to check with the charity for and find out if they allow auctions or raffles.
