Do you have any energy saving tips?
Years ago I bought a mylar emergency blanket "at my local Walmart in the camping section. The cut to fit the window of my room and taped up the window with tape. I did it because I worked night and had to sleep during the day and the sun was too bright, the good thing was that many of the heat hangs in my bedroom. When washing clothes, washing or dry a full load and air dry whenever possible. I have a small foot dryer that I use in the basement and in summer they have outdoor. When I use my oven, I try cook the entire meal: meat, vegetables in the oven to avoid wasting heat. In cold weather, after turning off the oven, I leave the oven door ajar for what they feel the heat instead of turning up the thermostat on the boiler. We reserve the thermostat to 65F and daytime wear sweaters.
