Why machines build a time machine meat can only happen if?
In the series Terminator Skynet made the machines say time, which makes sense because while humans have decades or centuries away to make time travel possible, an IA could think of thousands or millions times faster than humans therefore developed Terminators and laser weapons. But why a machine for making a time machine only organic matter can pass through? Furthermore, if only organic matter you can use the time machine, how the T-1000, TX and backward in time?
The answer to your first question would be: Although Skynet was very intelligent, which would still have to follow the natural law. If natural law dictates that only organic matter can travel through time, then it must follow that law, along with the law of gravity when designing HK and all laws of physics for others involved in implementing the technology on which it has no control. In this case, all the laws that govern the travel time was made by the writers, as such laws do not exist today, or in 1982 when history was written. I can not answer your second question, because one always has annoyed, too. I think that as an audience that was supposed to just stop paying attention to such things and not recognize the difference between living tissue morphic and very malleable metal, not living. Yes, TX and the T-1000 should not be able to travel in time. Perhaps their outer surfaces were smeared with a paste of cells alive, or a continuous layer of unicellular organisms. It could have been thin and fine as to not be in touch screen. Maybe they burn during the transfer. I also believe that the writers chose to write the rule of organic matter to create a situation where even the nearly all-knowing Skynet would be unable to solve a problem without the help of that is the archenemy of "life."
