How often Qantas flyer many points are needed to upgrade to first class on a flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles?
Does anyone know How Many frequent flyer points you need to upgrade from Economy Class to First Class on a Qantas flight from Melbourne, Australia to Los Angeles, United States in April 2009? Or get a rough idea?
You can not double upgrade the economy class. Inorder to do that, you'd buy a business class ticket and use your points to upgrade to first class, which would cost 50,000 miles to upgrade from Business First or 80,000 of the economy to business assuming you have purchased a ticket in economy class discount. Moreover, given that limited availability of updated, you can not even be able to Update yourself if Qantas does not exempt a business / first class award sites update.
