Can anyone tell me about New Zealand currency at the time of World War II?
I was looking through the end of World War II the father of my collection of coins from the South Pacific when he served in the U.S. Navy 1942-45. I was curious what the purchasing power The coins could be today, or what might be worthwhile in any case. If I showed up in Wellington, what could I buy them? These are the currencies: the half-crown of silver, 2 silver sixpence. In addition, the shilling silver coin from Australia. Thank you.
Go to your local library and get the catalog Krause World Coins. It contains thousands of foreign currencies in the world with approximately values.Don t 'go to a coin dealer because if he wants the currency that will provide a low price.Caveat Emptor

Harmony With Universal Laws and Happiness
We live in a universe of laws and regulations. The universe is harmonious and precise. It remains, even when we believe that is being good to us. One of the Universal Laws that has become the focus of attention and conversations lately, due to the huge success of the hit movie The Secret is the Law of Attraction. And that is a big and important step for the evolution of humanity as a whole. The understanding and application of this law is an essential step towards self-development.
In fact, we are moving along a path of evolution, regardless of what anyone can say or think. Evolution is part of life, another Universal Law. What some fail to understand is that this evolutionary path may include some suffering. But is it necessarily suffering important or essential to our growth?
I have heard that "if we do not learn by love, we must learn from the pain." Following of that thought, we must assume that suffering can be the result of us not living in harmony with some important universal laws. Is the Universe gives us a clear message that we are still failing somewhere.
To me the best definition of "spirituality" is: living in harmony with universal laws. And that lifestyle could lead to the end of suffering and an acceleration of our individual and collective growth. However, the majority of humanity still lacks knowledge and guidance to achieve this goal. Not surprisingly, they were not taught about these laws in school, we know better.
Therefore, it should be our first goal in life, before health, abundance, power, magnetism? For me to be learning and applying the Universal Laws that we know. We may not know all of them, but we know so far is more than enough to start.
My definition of happiness is the same as my definition of "spirituality"; live in harmony with universal laws. Once we are able to reach this harmony, happiness is natural, we need not look for it, and not have to struggle for it. Simply happens.
Therefore, start by asking yourself: "Am I living in harmony with the Universal Laws that I know or I'm just a connoisseur intellectual?" Reading is not enough simply to believe or agree with it is not enough. We must take this seriously, as a way of life. And, as any expert in any area, we must refine our practice every day. The Law of Attraction, for example, be used only when we are in need or distress, as most people use prayer as a way to escape. We must be aware of this and see how the attraction is working in our lives. inverse attraction is a fact but is attracting what you do not. Thus, the law operates independently, and is neutral. It is we who must use it properly, much like electricity, gravity and the laws of mathematics. If you are unhappy, it means that we are failing to harmonize with universal law.
