The Truth About Traditional Witchcraft
The written word is a powerful medium. Around the time that the alphabet was first created, Goddesses were worshiped in most parts of the world. The word "witchcraft" did not exist and the words "pagan", "pagan" does not exist either. Lived cultures following natural cycles of life taking care not to destroy more than they had to. Written words, especially from a male perspective began falling of the female form with life issues including witchcraft.
There is evidence of temples and places of worship where the goddesses were worshiped and rituals performed for the sake of humanity. fertility rituals, seasonal rituals and other ceremonies were held usually officiated by women such as the nature of the people had chosen to bring out human existence.

In some countries where Europeans could not completely annihilate and destroy cultures magical and its life forms, these traditions still flourish.
The advent of religious writing was what started the denigration and defamation of natural forms of life. A lot of nonsense off was compiled together in the name of God, and people obsessed with greed, ignorance, tried to "conquer" the rest of the world to "save us from sin." In the name of God, attacked, looted and killed innocent people. In the name of God, destroyed ("colonized") beautiful nature loving many cultures that were flourishing in different parts of the world.

Traditional witches believe in multiple gods and goddesses, each of them power or a specific function. There were local gods, some have more power than others, the gods in human form, animal form or other mixed forms. By contrast,
Wiccans believe that there are only two divine beings, the Goddess and God.
Many other names can be used in rituals, but they are all manifestations "of these two powerful entities. Wiccans also believe that God and the Goddess can be combined in the almighty "One", which combines the powers of both.
