Wooden Thread
I have a box of wooden thread says JP Coats, how I can know whether the original or a copy?
My grandmother is going to sell it at a garage sale and I thought it looked cool, so I kept it. I'm not using, and I wonder if the sale of sentence. I do not see any numbers or anything on it. You can send a photo if anyone knows of this.
It's probably an original, since there are still plenty of them around. Doubt whether it is worth selling a large part – is possible to find a cross stapler might want to store thread / threads, but that depends on the size of the box and how that has compartments. JP Coats Coats and became Clark – here's his website: http://www.coatsandclark.com/ also still selling the brand JP Coats embroidery floss 6-strand, which also selling the brand's main anchor silk – and a slew of other fibers (you can see them all on the website.) If the box has a sentimental value, or change the purpose of linking the tea bags or anything else, I like to keep. Moreover, the stitch, so you could use something like that. However, if you are looking to sell, the real value is quite low, and if you need to ship, shipping costs will be high, due to the shape. Therefore, the sale to someone who local is not probably not going to no net benefit. If you want to get rid of it, I suggest Freecycle, if you have one near you. You can find a home that is useful for someone else. Another place to find a home / buyer as it is if you have a local sewing shop near you, you might want to buy their character as decoration Store. Good luck!
