At this time of year, the Japanese front yard is one of the most striking, it is because the flowers have to be improved. Its charm is there regardless of the plants, Japanese gardens and Zen philosophies are not difficult to breed in North America. They lend themselves to any climate and any variation of plants.
Creating a Zen garden can even bring some satisfaction Zen as a side effect! In "Your Own Japanese garden: Part 1 ", the concept of assembling your own garden was discussed with particular attention to their environment, focal points, rocks and lanterns.
In this section – "his own Japanese Garden: Part 2", plants, water, bridges, boats and all aspects of aging are explored. Plants in the winter can be quite non-existent, but the Japanese garden still look good, because it has an intriguing design that does not depend on the blooms.
Doorbells and a Japanese cherry blossom can be your first blooms in spring. If these are not available for purchase in your climate, use a local tree, shrub or cactus.
For a high background near a fence is not a Japanese daisy flowers do well in cool climates. It is more common in white or pink. If you really love your flowers, then spread around to your liking!
The thoughts are well suited to the garden and Japanese honeysuckle (plant near the rest area enjoy the aroma). The lilies and gladiolus also blend with the look, and if you have a pond, add Water Lilies.
One of the plants that somehow Japanese is the begonia, come in miniature or regular, and their colors are vivid. If you live in an area where not many flowers bloom, try to stick to one color, consider buying all white flowers to keep the idea simple.
If you buy evergreens, remember that you can choose yellow, gray-green and blue-green as well as the traditional green. The red-leaved shrub is also an addition of color, and good "filler". If you live in the desert, choose from the collection Unique exotic plants available for you. Play more with the rock and the idea that road on your ornamental garden.
Many people have in your own pond, pond liners are cheap and the instructions for the novice are easy to find on the Internet or in books.
A pond does not need a bomb and can be small or large. However, some people prefer to use a pump to the water cascading over the rocks carefully placed, etc.
A pond is a small area of Zen "nothing" where nothing but lies, water is also seen as a symbol of cleansing and purification. The sound of water said to soothe the soul, and have a stressing effect on the mind. However, if taking in a pond that the complex is poor (and stressful!) – There are other options.
Some of the self-contained mobile sources, where water circulates within its own container can be found in the styles of bamboo. This would satisfy the need for the sound of water, you may have to use an extension cord to run it.
A Japanese real focal point, and that the design Zen ideal calls is a small bridge. This is to take from one world to another, specifically from the hectic world we live in the world of his relaxing Zen garden. Bridges can be ordered through the Internet, but you have to put them together yourself. Or maybe a local carpenter will create one for you?
If you buy a long line as a pond, you can place the bridge at one end and just the upper or bamboo poles on the other side of the bridge. This suggests that the pond is larger than is and that water flows under the bridge and past.
To protect children and keep your garden safe, install a stainless steel grill a few inches low water level to "catch" children fall.
empty vessels and containers of stone, wood or clay or other natural support are appropriate in the Zen garden. The idea began with teapots broken by the Japanese tea ceremony, the monks thought they were too pretty to shoot. Has intensified in the pots and empty glasses, and in some ways, the idea that the boat is old and was useful links once with the Japanese need for bowing of age.
Venerability is highly regarded and Zen gardens that need the maturity and dignity is represented by old gnarled tree trunks, the patina on the old stone and weathered wood or wood chips silvery gray. Old stone with moss growing near and on top of the stone is a well known feature.
Such Once you can find your own moss going for a walk in the country and the lifting of moss, sliding a knife under it. Keep the humidity on the way home and try to grow in your own backyard. With one or more of these representations of old age, your garden is to allow the time element to be revered.
Once you have created the garden Zen way, will have "Shibui": There is no real translation, but it contained a simple elegance and is close to what it describes. It will also help to resonate calmly, as emanating "seijaku '- peace and calm.

Construction of a Zen garden?
I planted a small garden a few years ago but has gotten out of hand and I am interested in into a Zen garden. I have a few questions. First, what kind of sand should be used? Or is that all custom finishes to suit your preferences? And if the box is out, what happens when it rains or snows? Will I put a cover over it, or is it just not meant to be outdoors? Thanks beforehand.
Virtually the sand will do. Even if you can paint, I've seen a few black sand.
